Saturday in the Park: Rivercane Arrows with Greg Drowningbear

Join us for Saturday in the Park as we welcome Greg Drowningbear! A member of the Cherokee tribe, Mr. Drowningbear is a skilled artisan and language educator. Come out to the park from 11 am to 3 pm and experience a wonderful chance to see him demonstrate how arrows are made. Join us for this opportunity to learn more about what it takes to make a rivercane arrow!

The program will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of or inside the Jones Archaeological Museum. The program is free with paid park admission.

Moundville is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69. Park admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors 55 years and older and $6 for students.
