While you are here, explore the park and take a moment to enjoy a specatacular view of the Black Warrior River or relax on our boardwalk nature trail. LOST REALM
Telling a story – that’s what a 10-year, $5 million renovation of the Jones Museum at Moundville Archaeological Park is about. The museum combines the latest technology with more than 200 stunning artifacts to describe one of the most significant Native American archaeological sites in the United States. Lost Realm of the Black Warrior, the new exhibit, relates the rich existence of an ancient people who once populated the site.
