Moundville & the CCC – October 25th – by the river – 5:30 pm
Robert Pasquill (USDA Forest Service) displays and discusses Civilian Conservation Corps memorabilia. He also discusses how the CCC helped save the Moundville site from erosion, excavating portions of the site and building the Jones Museum, among other structures. This program is free to the public and is funded in part through a grant from the Alabama Humanities Foundation. Book purchases and autographs will be available.
